Welcome

This is where you will find information about our new organ project “orgel465 for Haug church”.

Please take a look around and get to know our project.

This is the instrument we raise money for.

The name “orgel465” was chosen because of the pitch of the instrument. A 17th century instrument is a half a pitch higher than “normal”, where normal is usually at 440 hertz, (the same pitch of a piano) where an organ such as this would be at 465 hertz. This organ will be tuned to a meantone temperament.
